Halo: Waypoint Chronicles Cover Art

Last week, Halo Studios revealed the cover art I painted for their upcoming book from Simon & Schuster (Gallery Books imprint), "Halo Waypoint Chronicles". As the first cover I've done for a wide-release publication like this, it's a career milestone for me, and I couldn't be happier to have done it with a universe that, as a kid, greatly motivated me to make art and tell stories. The cover also just happens to feature the Spartan Jun, who was the main character of my popular webcomic, Halo: A Fistful of Arrows, which made it especially meaningful.

Being asked to paint 8 characters on one paperback cover gave me pause at first 😅, but I pushed my skills to try to create something special. I feel like I leveled up a little in the process!
